Eva's San Francisco Black Book
Hello everyone,
The last couple of months have been very busy for 111SKIN, as we launched on Celestial Black Diamond Collection in Barneys New York. In September we travelled to the flagship store in New York, and then in October it was time to visit the San Francisco store. Barney's customers got to come in and to find out more about the collection as well as having the chance to have a personal skin consultation with Yannis. The Black Diamond Facial was also on offer, and it was a very successful (but busy) trip. You can see some more photos from the Black Diamond launch on Instagram here. Although this trip was mainly work, work, work for us all we did find some time to visit a few of the places we love in San Francisco and I've shared them with you below.
Hotel
One of the best hotels to stay in during your trip to San Francisco is the Ritz Carlton. I love its down town location, which makes it ideal to explore the city
Restaurant
I love The Slanted Door for it's beautiful location in the Ferry Building, right along the Embarcadero, and the fantastic Vietnamese food they serve up.
Where To Go
The Golden Gate Park is a must-visit for any trip to San Francisco. My favourite garden to visit while I'm there is the Japanese Tea Garden, it's incredibly beautiful and restful.
Another cultural stop I love in San Francisco is the de Young Museum. They're always putting on lots of different exciting and interesting exhibitions, I easily think you could spend a whole day there. Plus it has a lovely location, in the Golden Gate Park.
My first stop on any Saturday spent in Chicago is the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, a huge outdoor market which is frequented by some of San Francisco's top chefs and famous farmers. It's located right along the Embarcadero, San Francisco's eastern waterway
