#FacialFriday: A blog re-cap

With April coming to an end, so is our Facial Friday series. We’ve loved publishing content all about the best facials, what exactly facial’s can provide, and how to fix up your own facial in the comfort of your own home. Who knew there was so much to say about the humble facial?

London’s best facials

In the first of our series, we went through the best facials that London has to offer. From the cream of the crop in terms of spas and hotels, to the customisable facials that will work for anyone and everyone. The Sarah Chapman LED light facial is still incredibly intriguing, and we can’t wait to try it out. Though, we have to give mention to our sister company 111 Harley St. and the incredible Micropen Facial that they offer. It is the latest in micro needle technology that lifts, tightens and tackles issues with hyper pigmentation and acne. Certainly the future in facial technology.

Our DIY facial

Next, we explored the do-it-yourself facials that you can give yourself in the comfort of your own home. We all have days where our skin is less than perfect and perhaps your nearest spa is all booked up, or you just don’t have time to sit with a facial expert. We talk you through the exact science of products; what you should be using and why. In an ideal world we would all be getting facials once a week, and with this run down of tips and tricks, we can ensure we are giving our skin the right amount of pamper time, regardless of our busy schedules.

What makes a good facial?

Finally, we discussed exactly what a good facial is comprised of. From your different skincare needs, to being aware of ingredients, to the specific products and the issues they help with. Facials are very personal and a bad one can really exacerbate underlying issues; knowing what effect different products can have on your complexion is really important when deciding which facial to go for.

We really hope you’ve enjoyed exploring the ins and outs of facials with us – and we’ll be back with another series soon! Meanwhile, keep an eye on this blog, as well as our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook feeds for news and promotions from 111SKIN.
