From Eva: Adjusting my Skincare for Autumn
EVA ON ADJUSTING SKINCARE FOR THE SEASON
Hey guys,
With my summer officially coming to an end and my boys heading back to school, the normalcy of routine and the school run is a regular occurrence again. Although the summer holidays were filled with fun it is now time to get back to business and there is something about autumn, the change of the season and the cooler temperatures that really pushes my recharge.
My renewal and refresh does start with my skincare and wellness routine and I wanted to tell you all what I’ll be transitioning with into autumn. As soon as I get back into London, I head to 111 Harley St. to see my favourite Aesthetician, Milena Naydenov. She works wonders on my skin and without me even asking, she creates the perfect treatment for me. I undergo the ClearLift laser treatment, which is good for facial redness, minimising pores, treating acne as well as fine lines and wrinkles. We follow this with the Meso Aesthetic Peel to brighten and exfoliate my skin before ending with the Celestial Black Diamond mask that super hydrates and firms my skin, I also love to do this treatment before any events that I attend.
In the summer I always opt for lighter serums, but as the weather changes I have to adapt my products and an option for autumn that I find works wonders with my skin is the Y Theorem Repair Serum NAC Y2. This serum works as the perfect all-rounder, building volume, repairing and renewing my skin. At night, I really spend time treating my skin and where I would have used the Nocturnal Eclipse Recovery Cream, I now use the Celestial Black Diamond Cream that focuses on plumping and hydrating my skin.
A part of my routine that I really focus on during the winter is boosting my skin, my main skincare concerns are around hydration and discolouration. Aside from my facial treatments, I find that targeted products like the Pollution Defence Booster works to nourish my skin and with my being in the city more frequently, it works against the environmental aggressors that can irritate my skin. I still use my Rose Gold Radiance Booster as I like to add drops into my foundation as well as my eye and day creams for added radiance. Essentially, my summer routine is focused on radiance, protection and a healthy glow because I spend so much time outdoors, but my autumn routine is focused around reparative treatments that promise to hydrate and even out my skin tone.
Aside from products, I love to use our Celestial Black Diamond Peel twice a week as it is gentle but very effective. I do hope this was useful for many of you as I know the conversation with my friends have been around transitioning into a new season and I would love to hear how you are adjusting your skincare for the transitioning of the season.
Best,
